The web is a truly powerful invention, not about how it is technically achieved, but about the core concept behind. I would say everything can be more than what it is. World Wide Web refers the worldwide computer network, but ‘web’can mean a network of anything. In fact, the way computer is used to ease communication between different individuals has brought forward a clearer picture of how people are connected to one another.

All sorts of thoughts and ideas are sprouting on the web, fostering new kinds of cultures with groups of supporters. Yet I believe with a whole world of participants the web can still achieve some balance, whether or not there will be an uprise of undemocratic forces is yet to be seen.
